3. Symposium on Sleep Apnoea

We are pleased to announce that 3rd Symposium on Sleep Apnoea with international participation will be held at Hotel Slon in Ljubljana on March 15^th and 16^th, 2024. The symposium brings new insights that will enrich your knowledge in the field of sleep-related breathing disorders. This year's two-day symposium will host distinguished speakers from Slovenia and abroad, such as Prof. Dr. Winfried J. Randerath, the author of numerous publications and guidelines on sleep-disordered breathing, and Prof. Claudia Crimi, a specialist in mechanical ventilation and secretary of the Non-Invasive Ventilation (NIV) assembly at ERS. Experts from Serbia will also share their experiences and new findings.

The symposium will feature parallel sessions for both physicians and nurses. We will focus on the issues of central sleep apnoea, the role of telemedicine services in sleep medicine, the connection between other diseases and sleep-disordered breathing, and present innovations in the treatment of patients with obstructive sleep apnoea. Interesting clinical cases will also be presented.

Additionally, special attention will be given to maintaining a regular sleep schedule, as it is crucial for overall well-being and health. Six practical workshops will be organised to help you improve clinical skills.
